First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This early-stage study tested whether a new eye drop called PRO-232 is safe and tolerable for healthy adults. 28 volunteers received either the eye drop or a placebo. Researchers checked for side effects, changes in eye pressure, and whether the drops caused stinging. The goal was to see if the treatment is safe enough for future studies.
