First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests two types of high-power prism glasses for people with homonymous hemianopia, a condition where half of the visual field is lost in both eyes. The goal is to see if these glasses help people detect hazards, like pedestrians, approaching from their blind side during a virtual reality walking test. The trial involves 64 participants who have had the condition for at least three months and can walk independently.
