Summary
This study tests a personalized, two-stage therapy approach for minimally verbal preschoolers with autism (ages 3-5) who use fewer than 20 words. Researchers will adjust the type and intensity of therapy based on each child's progress, aiming to improve spontaneous communication. The goal is to reduce the number of children who remain minimally verbal by age 6.
