New drug targets Hard-to-Treat cancers with genetic weakness

Summary
This study tests a new drug called AZD3470 in people with advanced solid tumors that lack a gene called MTAP. The drug is designed to block a protein these cancer cells need to grow. The trial will first find the safest dose, then see if it shrinks tumors or slows cancer growth, both alone and with other cancer medicines.
