First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether removing kidney stones right away with a scope (ureteroscopy) is safe and works well for people whose kidneys are struggling due to a blockage. Researchers will compare results in 60 adults with normal vs. reduced kidney function. The goal is to see if skipping a temporary drainage tube can speed recovery and reduce hospital visits.
