First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether it is safe and effective to remove kidney stones in one procedure, even when kidney function is reduced. About 60 adults with a blocked ureter and elevated creatinine levels will undergo immediate ureteroscopy without a prior stent. The goal is to see if this single-step approach can reduce hospital visits and complications while still being safe.
