First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested two treatments made from a person's own blood—platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP)—alone or with microneedling, to see which works better for stretch marks. Thirty adults received different treatments on each side of their body over five sessions. Researchers measured changes in stretch mark severity and patient satisfaction.
