Blood proteins battle stretch marks: which works best?
NCT ID NCT07561671
First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026
Summary
This study tested two treatments made from a person's own blood—platelet-rich fibrin and platelet-rich plasma—to see which works better for stretch marks. Thirty adults received one treatment on one side of their body and the other treatment on the opposite side, sometimes combined with microneedling. The goal was to measure changes in stretch mark severity and patient satisfaction.
