First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study is testing a gel made from a patient's own blood (platelet-rich fibrin) to see if it helps heal chronic leg ulcers that won't go away with standard care. About 40 adults over 35 with these sores will receive the gel dressing. The goal is to measure wound improvement using a standard scoring tool.
