Extra mesh during prolapse surgery: helpful or harmful?

Summary
This study looks at whether adding a mesh at the back of the vagina during standard prolapse surgery can stop the problem from returning. About 834 women with moderate prolapse (but not severe back-wall prolapse) will be randomly assigned to get either the standard front mesh or both front and back meshes. The goal is to see if the extra mesh reduces recurrence without causing more pain, bowel issues, or other complications.
