Summary
This study looked at 241 children on breathing machines to see if automatically controlling the pressure in their breathing tube cuff could prevent pneumonia better than manual checks. The goal was to keep the cuff pressure in the right range to reduce infection risk. Results will show which method works best for preventing ventilator-associated pneumonia.
