Summary
This study tests a special wearable device on 5,000 newborns to catch early warning signs of sudden unexpected postnatal collapse (SUPC). The device monitors heart rate and breathing continuously during the first 72 hours of life. The goal is to detect problems early so doctors can step in and prevent life-threatening events.
