Summary

This study tested two methods to prevent surgical site infection after cesarean section in 189 women with obesity (BMI 30 or higher). One group received a small drain under the skin, another had the wound rinsed with salt water, and a third had standard closure only. The goal was to see which approach reduces infection and wound problems most effectively.
