First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study tests whether placing a small balloon inside the uterus after surgery to remove a septum (a wall of tissue) can prevent internal scar tissue from forming. Scar tissue can cause problems with fertility and periods. The trial will enroll 320 women and compare standard care with adding the balloon stent. The goal is to find a better way to help the uterus heal without scarring.
