NCT ID NCT07567235

First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether a protein called CFH, delivered through ice microneedles, can safely prevent radiation-induced skin fibrosis (hardening and scarring) in people with head and neck cancer. Nine participants will receive the patch twice a week during their radiation treatment. The main goals are to check for side effects and see if the skin stays healthier.
