New cream could stop radiation burns in cancer patients

Summary
This study tests a special cream made from amino acids that may prevent skin damage caused by radiation therapy in people with head and neck cancer. About 40 participants will use the cream during their radiation treatment to see if it reduces redness, peeling, and pain. The goal is to help patients complete their cancer therapy with fewer skin problems.
