Can a stitch plus progesterone stop preterm birth in twins?

Summary
This study looks at whether adding a cervical stitch (cerclage) to standard progesterone treatment can better prevent very early preterm birth (before 28 weeks) in women carrying twins who have a short cervix. About 260 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the stitch plus progesterone or progesterone alone. The goal is to find the most effective way to reduce the risk of early delivery and improve outcomes for twins.
