Twin pregnancy breakthrough: stitch plus hormone may stop preterm birth

Summary
This study tests whether adding a cervical stitch (cerclage) to standard progesterone treatment can prevent preterm birth in women pregnant with twins who have a short cervix. About 260 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the stitch plus progesterone or progesterone alone. The goal is to see which approach better reduces births before 28 weeks.
