Summary
This study tested a special nursing plan to prevent pressure sores (bedsores) in patients with severe lung failure who must lie face-down to help them breathe. The plan involved careful positioning and regular checks of at-risk areas like the forehead, chest, and knees. 160 adults in intensive care took part, and the goal was to see if the plan reduced new sores.
