Can a heart drug stop pneumonia after a stroke?

Summary
This early study tests the safety and best dose of a drug called propranolol, given continuously through a vein for 7 days, to prevent pneumonia in people who have had a severe brain bleed (intracerebral hemorrhage). About 30 adults will take part. The main goal is to find a safe dose and see if it reduces pneumonia cases in the first week after the bleed.
