Summary
This study aimed to find the best way to prevent a painful complication called pancreatitis in children after they undergo an ERCP procedure. Researchers compared two common anti-inflammatory drugs, one given as a rectal suppository and one given by IV, in 192 young patients. The goal was to see which medication was more effective at reducing the rates of this complication and managing post-procedure pain.
