NCT ID NCT04207944

First seen Jun 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether the anti-inflammatory drug sulindac can prevent high-risk pancreatic cysts (IPMNs) from progressing to pancreatic cancer. About 100 adults with these cysts will receive either sulindac or a placebo for up to 3 years, alongside standard monitoring. The goal is to see if the drug reduces cyst growth, new cysts, or cancer development.
