Summary
This study tested three different methods to prevent allergic reactions in 90 women with breast or gynecologic cancer receiving the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel. One method used oral dexamethasone the night before and morning of treatment, another used intravenous dexamethasone just before treatment, and a third combined both. The goal was to find which approach caused the fewest allergic reactions.
