Simple breathing exercises may cut lung complications after liver surgery

Summary
This study tests whether a short, easy breathing exercise program can prevent lung complications like pneumonia after laparoscopic liver surgery. About 364 adults having this surgery will be split into two groups: one gets standard care, the other adds breathing exercises for 7 days before and 7 days after surgery. The goal is to see if the exercises reduce lung problems within 14 days after the operation.
