New study aims to keep kids breathing safely during sedation

Summary

This study tests two methods of giving oxygen to children aged 6-16 during a stomach scope procedure to see which better prevents dangerously low oxygen levels. About 30 children will receive oxygen either through a special mask or a nasal tube. The goal is to find a safer way to keep kids stable while they are sedated.
