Summary
This study tested whether a special monitor could predict and help prevent low blood pressure in patients waking up from surgery. About 210 adults having elective surgery were randomly assigned to either use this prediction monitor or receive standard recovery room care. The goal was to see if the monitor could reduce episodes of low blood pressure, which can lead to complications like kidney injury.
