Immune-Boosting drug aims to stop deadly infections in ICU patients

Summary
This study tests if a drug called interferon gamma can prevent new infections in ICU patients whose immune systems are weak. About 326 adults who have been in the ICU for at least a week will receive either the drug or a placebo. The goal is to see if the drug reduces infections and helps patients recover faster.
