First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study aimed to find a practical way to prevent hypoglycemia unawareness, a dangerous condition where people with diabetes can't feel low blood sugar. Researchers tested whether a naloxone nasal spray and a drug called diazoxide could help the body respond better to low blood sugar. Only healthy volunteers without diabetes were enrolled, and the study was stopped early.
