First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests a special sticky pad called Brijjit® to see if it can stop raised scars (hypertrophic scars) after gender-affirming mastectomy (top surgery). About 78 adults will take part, and each person will have the pad on one side of their chest while the other side gets no treatment, so they can compare. The goal is to improve scar appearance and comfort.
