First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether personalized counseling can help prevent high blood pressure in adults living in Dhaka slums. About 1700 healthy participants will receive 20 counseling sessions focused on exercise, diet, and avoiding tobacco and alcohol. The goal is to see if these talks can lower key risk factors like obesity, inactivity, and poor diet in a low-resource setting.
