New study aims to stop frailty before it starts in older HIV patients
NCT ID NCT07486661
First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at people with HIV between 65 and 74 years old to find those at risk for frailty—a condition that makes older adults weak and more likely to get sick or be hospitalized. Researchers will use a simple screening test and then offer a special check-up and care plan to help prevent frailty. The goal is to keep participants healthier and more independent as they age.
