Summary
This study tested whether a tailored program of exercise, cognitive training, and support could prevent functional decline in 301 stroke survivors over the long term. Participants were followed for years to see if the program helped them maintain daily living skills and thinking abilities. The goal was to find a practical way to improve quality of life after stroke.
