Can a Vitamin-Like pill stop cancer Treatment's agonizing bone pain?
NCT ID NCT07300735
Summary
This study is testing whether two common oral medications can prevent severe bone pain caused by G-CSF, a drug given to boost white blood cells in people with blood cancers. Researchers are comparing a flavonoid supplement (diosmin-hesperidin) and an allergy medication (loratadine), both alone and combined, to see which works best. The goal is to find a simple way to improve quality of life for patients undergoing this difficult but necessary treatment.
