Summary
This study tested a mobile health program called Mobile CHOICES to help urban American Indian and Alaska Native young women aged 16-20 avoid alcohol-exposed pregnancy. The program used social media to recruit participants and provided culturally adapted tools to reduce drinking and improve birth control use. The goal was to prevent Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, a leading cause of preventable birth defects.
