This study tests a new program called PrevED MR that uses mixed reality (a blend of real and virtual worlds) to teach emotion regulation skills to 72 teens and young adults at risk for eating disorders. Participants will attend 12 group sessions over 6 weeks, learning mindfulness, distress tolerance, and body acceptance through virtual activities. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and can reduce eating disorder symptoms and improve body image.
