Summary

This study tests a 6-week group program called PrevED MR that uses mixed reality (a blend of real and virtual worlds) to teach emotion regulation skills to 72 teens and young adults aged 13-35 who are at risk for developing eating disorders. Participants are randomly assigned to the program or a waitlist. The goal is to see if the program is feasible and helps improve eating disorder symptoms, body image acceptance, and emotional control.
