First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study used a special PET scan to track where the tuberculosis (TB) drug pretomanid goes in the body. Ten people with TB received a tiny radioactive version of the drug so researchers could see how much reaches infected areas in the lungs. The goal was to learn more about how the drug works, not to test a new treatment.
