Summary
This study looked at whether letting children in rural Kenya start preschool at age 3, instead of the usual age 4, helps them learn better and allows their mothers to work more. Over 2,000 children and their families took part. Researchers measured kids' thinking and language skills and tracked mothers' jobs and income to see if earlier childcare makes a difference.
