First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at whether letting children start preschool at age 3 (instead of age 4) helps them learn better and also helps their mothers find work and earn more money. Over 2,000 children and their families in rural Kenya took part. The goal is to see if this change is good for both kids and women, and to help guide future education policies.
