New combo therapy aims to tame High-Risk prostate cancer

Summary
This study looks at whether giving a short, precise course of radiation therapy before surgically removing the prostate is safe and doable for men with aggressive prostate cancer. Sixteen men with high-risk features (Gleason score 8 or higher or signs of tumor spread) are being treated. The main goal is to see how many complete surgery without serious side effects within a month and a year after treatment.
