Team huddles before surgery may cut complications

Summary
This study looks at whether having a team of doctors meet before high-risk noncardiac surgery can reduce serious problems like hospital stays or organ failure. About 1200 patients will join, and half will get the team meeting approach. Researchers will track complications, disability, and quality of life for 6 months after surgery.
