Summary

This study tests whether adding a peer health coach to existing re-entry services can help people with a history of justice involvement learn about and start taking PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. Researchers will work with 100 clients of Unlocking Doors in Dallas to see if this approach is practical and well-liked. The goal is to make HIV prevention more accessible for a group that often faces barriers to healthcare.
