New study aims to boost HIV prevention for black women at planned parenthood

Summary

This study tests ways to help more Black women get PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. Researchers will work with 250 women at Planned Parenthood clinics in Illinois who have had a sexually transmitted infection. The goal is to make it easier for them to get a PrEP prescription and keep taking it.
