Pre-Surgery lessons boost recovery in lung cancer patients

Summary
This study tested whether a special education session before lung cancer surgery helps patients recover faster. 100 adults were split into two groups: one received a nurse-led lesson with a booklet, the other got usual care. Results showed that those who learned about their surgery beforehand had better recovery, less pain, and improved breathing after the operation.
