First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests a new approach for people with a certain type of advanced bile duct cancer that is usually considered inoperable. Before surgery, doctors will block the tumor-involved liver artery to encourage new blood vessels to form, allowing the cancer and the artery to be safely removed. The goal is to see if this procedure helps patients live longer and have successful cancer removal. The study will enroll 33 participants in China.
