First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at how closely doctors follow a new hospital guideline for managing anemia (low red blood cells) in patients before major surgery. About 93 anemic patients will be tracked to see if the guideline is used correctly and if it helps reduce blood transfusions, hospital stays, and complications. The goal is to improve care and lower healthcare costs in Thailand.
