Game teaches prenatal screening as well as genetic counseling?

NCT ID NCT05360095

First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tested whether a fun, interactive game can teach pregnant people and their partners about prenatal genetic screening as effectively as one-on-one genetic counseling. Over 2000 participants who were less than 15 weeks pregnant took part. The goal was to see if the game could improve knowledge and help with decision-making, especially for those in rural areas with limited access to counselors.
