Summary
This study follows 270 preterm babies (born before 32 weeks) from birth to age 3 to see if the germs in their noses can predict serious lung problems like bronchopulmonary dysplasia and later asthma. Researchers will collect nasal swabs, stool samples, and some blood and milk samples to track how the microbiome develops. The goal is to find early warning signs and understand what factors shape a baby's respiratory health.
