First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This small pilot study tests whether a forced air warming device can safely raise body temperature in people with accidental hypothermia before they get to the hospital. Only 4 healthy adults will participate to see if the method is practical and works. The study does not involve treating sick patients, just checking if the equipment and procedure are feasible in a prehospital setting.
