NCT ID NCT07155772

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 38 times

Summary

This study tests whether a heart-lung machine (ECMO) can be used outside the hospital to help people whose hearts have stopped and won't restart with standard CPR. Researchers will try to place the machine in 20 adults aged 18-70 who have a witnessed cardiac arrest and meet other safety criteria. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and could improve survival and brain recovery.
